Événements Les Affaires is organizing this 3^rd conference edition which will take place on March 22^nd in Montreal to answer many questions regarding the implementation of the Quebec Maritime Strategy, a major project that will have a significant economic impact on the Quebec region.

On the agenda: Innovation, Investment, and Regional Development.

SIMCO is interested in participating in the development of the new Quebec Maritime Strategy because of its extensive experience gained by working with various port authorities for the construction and maintenance of their marine assets. Our experience has led us to conclude that the success of the Quebec Maritime Strategy will only be achieved through the rehabilitation of its existing infrastructure and efficient management of its assets.

The implementation of the Maritime Strategy should be based on reliable, relevant and timely data of assets already in place, data that is often incomplete or entirely missing. In this context, it is critical that an adequate evaluation of the current condition of structures be performed to predict the residual service life of each asset and anticipate the actual costs of repair and maintenance.

Mr. Vincent Lapointe, Business Development Engineer at SIMCO will be on site at the conference to meet with experts from different sectors who will address the essential elements of the Quebec Maritime Strategy.
