SIMCO Technologies will be presenting at the 2018 National Bridge Preservation Partnership Conference taking place in the Renaissance Orlando, at Seaworld Hotel in Orlando, Florida, from April 8th to April 12th 2018. Dr. Richard Cantin, Subject Matter Expert – Concrete Durability, will be providing a presentation on optimized bridge preservation strategies. Dr. Cantin will present an approach that combines a good knowledge of concrete properties, degradation mechanisms and contamination levels, with a reliable service-life prediction tool. The presentation will provide details about such an approach and will show examples for which material engineering and service-life modeling were combined to evaluate and compare different interventions in terms of their respective cost and expected performance.
