Dr. Eric Samson, Director of R&D and Innovation at SIMCO Technologies is pleased to be presenting at the Deep Foundation Institute Middle East Chapter (DFIMEC) 2016 Conference taking place from May 11th to May 12th 2016 in Dubai, UAE. Dr. Samson will be presenting “Corrosion of Below-Grade Reinforced Concrete Structures in the Arabian Peninsula: Analysis, Evaluation, and Management. The presentation will briefly examine the importance of performing corrosion-based condition assessment to diagnose problems, quantify damage and predict service life.
The DFIMEC 2016 Conference is focused on the challenges and advancements in the field of Geotechnical Engineering, as many challenging projects in the Middle East require more in-depth knowledge and awareness of best practices in deep excavations, dewatering, foundations and shoring systems, ground improvement and other sophisticated foundation options.
This year’s event is cosponsored by the Deep Foundations Institute and the American University in Dubai and is aimed at providing a forum that will allow experts in the field to share their technical expertise and experience in the Middle East and throughout the world.
