Trade Mission organized by Export Quebec with the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey

Jacques Marchand, President of SIMCO will be participating in the Trade Mission Organized by Export Quebec with the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey.

Export Quebec is currently in the final preparations of a trade mission that will take place from April 11th to 13th 2016 with the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (Trade Mission Port Authority New York New Jersey PANYNJPANYNJ), one of the
largest infrastructure owners and managers in the world. The PANYNJ builds, operates and ensures the repair and maintenance of all their infrastructure assets which includes major airports, ports, bridges and tunnels in the region as well as the World Trade Center. In 2014, the PANYNJ presented an ambitious capital plan that includes more than 500 projects estimated at 27.6 billion dollars U.S.

The PANYNJ is always looking to innovate and find the best possible solutions for their ongoing and upcoming projects. It is a great opportunity to showcase the unique expertise offered by professional firms located in Quebec.

This mission will provide SIMCO with the opportunity to meet with different experts from the PANYNJ in order to present our products and services as well as to better understand the PANYNJ’s tendering process. SIMCO will also have the opportunity to attend a networking event with local professional firms already working within the transportation industry in New York and New Jersey.

The primary objective of this mission is to promote SIMCO’s unique infrastructure durability engineering expertise which is applicable to their entire asset portfolio. SIMCO provides services in two main areas: new construction projects and the management of existing structures. Innovative in terms of management tools design, supply SIMCO includes integrated solutions for optimizing the design and maintenance of concrete infrastructure such as bridges, roads, tunnels, airports, ports, structures maritime, buildings, parking lots, and others.
